Description
This technical overview provides a high-level introduction to the
Internet. It describes Internet technologies and applications and
discusses the benefits of the Internet as well as the issues that
need to be addressed. It explains how to make productive use of
the Internet in personal and/or business life. If the classroom
is fitted with workstations and access to the Internet, this overview
includes a demonstration and some hands-on exercises.
Audience
Technical managers and IT professionals who have little or no Internet
experience.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with basic computer terminology is required.
